The beauty of scannable forms is rapid data entry. Write-in comments often contain critical information needed to
generate reports and create future action plans. In most cases, however, write-in comments need to be hand-entered,
introducing additional costs, delays and the potential for error.
To prevent these potential problems, SurveyTracker software offers the Image Clip Add-On Component. The
component uses ScanTools Plus software and Scantron scanners to provide a reliable write-in response
collection system.
NOTE: The Image Clip Add-On Component is included with SurveyTracker Plus products and is offered as an
upgrade to non-Plus versions of SurveyTracker.
Image Clips allow for:
- Rapid data entry--no more tedious hand-entry of Write-In comments.
- Eliminate the potential for human error from hand-entry of Write-In comments.
- Display comments in the exact form entered by the respondent.
Incorporate the Write-in Responses directly into your report!
A custom version of the SurveyTracker Write-in Table displays the comments verbatim, exactly as the respondent wrote
them.
The Write-in Table allows you to:
- Reports can be created to show multiple Write-In comments in a grid format or show individual comments.
- Specify the number of comments in a grid row.
- Establish filters to display either a single image clip or a set of image clips that reinforce or describe your survey results.
- Image Clips can be added to the same report with other SurveyTracker Tables and Graphs.
- Comments can be “coded” for statistical analysis. Results can be reported in SurveyTracker Tables such as the Statistical Table, Quick Table, and Multi-Analysis Table.
- Create a storyboard of comments.
- Image clips can be archived and stored electronically. Original paper surveys can then be discarded.
