SurveyTracker 5.0 Update Page

NOTE: The Update Wizard is new update method that was introduced in some full installations of SurveyTracker 5.0.2.24 and later. This wizard will make it easier to not only update SurveyTracker but to also perform some additional tasks as defined below.

• Check for Updates.
• Automatically download and install updates if found.
• Browse for update files on your computer that you previously downloaded from this page (if automatic update does not work).
• Migrate an .MDB database file from one computer to another.
• Update your product license key.

If you were unable to update SurveyTracker 5 automatically through the SurveyTracker Update Wizard, you may download this update as described below.

NOTE: For a faster installation process, we recommend using the Check for Updates/automatic update through the Update Wizard. The wizard requires an active, unblocked internet connection so if you received an error using that method, make sure you have an active connection to the Web and that you do not have any firewalls preventing the wizard from accessing an external website.

• Modified Data Filter window so that it better keeps its position while defining filters and so that it can be resized.
• Fixed a bug on the Sample screen where, if you select a filter that contains an "OR" operation prior to creating your sample, some of the audience members are duplicated in the sample.

• Fixed inability to read in response data from e-mail or auto-host that contains single response scales with the "Other" choice activated where the respondent selected "Other" but did not type in Other text.

• Fixed inability to export projects with large numbers of image clips.

• Improved image clip export when exporting projects.

• Modified standard reports so scannable form Image Clips will work with the distribution filters.

• Fixed issue with Advanced Multi-Analysis Table where the N/A scale choice would be included in the statistics of the Overall Average.

• Fixed scannable form Image Clip Report for Standard Forms and Custom Forms without question numbers for the image clip questions.
• Fixed inability to export a project when the only report in the project is an image clip report.

• Fixed an issue that was causing dashed lines to display under images and the dashed line for a page break to print.
• Fixed the on-screen and paper distribution display of fixed sum and forced ranking scales.
• Modified web surveys so that "Must Complete" questions with response piping will display the piped response in the error message that displays when the respondent hasn't answered the question.
• Modified Response Piping so that it no longer requires question numbers to function in a web survey.
• Fixed a font issue where the min and max text of a horizontal numeric would not retain font style changes.
• Fixed an access violation that would display when previewing or creating web files when the survey contained a question with a drop-down list box that had an "other" scale choice.
• Fixed issue that was preventing a survey without question numbers to print the question number order when exporting to text files.
• Fixed cut, copy, and paste so that they function without switching question order mode.
• Fixed error message that displayed in the Tools -> Scanner -> Options dialog when a scanner without image clip support was configured.
• Fixed error message that would incorrectly report that objects are outside the designated scannable form area when distributing scannable forms.

• Fixed a web survey auto-host issue that could cause the return method to reset to e-mail return.
• Fixed a web survey auto-host Data Collection issue where the response data from an anonymous survey would read in each time you clicked Read.
• Modified the auto-host Online Status logic so that dates never adjust to today's date unless no date is set or the set date is earlier than today's date.

• Added the option to include or exclude Carriage Return/Line Feeds (CRLF) when exporting data to csv or txt files.
• Fixed a Data Collection issue with importing CSV or CSX response data where commas in the write-in fields could prevent records from reading in properly or at all.
• Modified the Evaluation Report and Table so that they sort the team/subject list alphabetically in data collection and reports.
• Addressed Advanced Multi-Analysis Table issue where percentage distribution was calculating incorrectly when displaying a summary of groups or sections.
• Modified Advanced Multi-Analysis Table's Print Overall Averages so that it displays only the scales selected in the General Tab.
• When sending e-mail, added an additional option to send even if e-mail addresses do not follow the expected format (someone@somewhere.com).
